This album is a clear indication that Alter Ego is the most notable melody maker and storyteller piano trio in the new generation jazz scene in Japan. This lead singer of The Doors introduced an alter ego, the Lizard King. The sound of the three-piece band stirs the listener's heart and leaves an irresistible feeling of comfort. All of the following bands were active in the London psychedelic scene EXCEPT. The melody that tugs at your heartstrings rings out, and you can't help but marvel at the beauty of the origin story. From the track no.6 "On the way to You", for which a music video has been released, the story of these ten songs reaches its climax. Then, the track no.5 "Cats In Boots" with its fast and thrilling ensemble, kicked off the scene. The impassioned melody and beat of the track no.3 “Next Break Shot” will stir your heart and make you excited and dance, and the nostalgic piano melody of the track no.4 “Gray” will make you burst into tears.
Sway your body comfortably to the light rhythm of the track no.2 “Tomorrow”, and you will be in a good mood, humming the song and picturing the warm sunshine on your windowsill.
